 Position: Head of Actuarial Division

Department: Actuarial Division

Location: Head Office, Karachi.

Description: The company is presently in the process of launching a new line of flexible and state-of-the-art life insurance products to meet the specific needs and requirements of individual policyholders. In this regard,  the company is seeking a fully qualified or a nearly qualified Actuary to head its Actuarial Division. In this role, the Actuary will be responsible for product development, pricing, reserving, monitoring and assisting the Appointed Actuary of the company in the annual actuarial valuations and related actuarial work. The minimum qualifications for the post are:

  • Fellow of Society/Institute of Actuaries (FSA/FIA) or Associate of Society/Institute of Actuaries (ASA/AIA) expecting to attain FSA/FIA designation within 1 to 2 years

  • Experience of working in a life insurance organization or actuarial consultancy firm managing life insurance policies, preferably of investment-linked type

  • Must have expert communication skills and should be able to work independently

  • Must be well acquainted with Pakistan’s insurance laws

The selected person for the above position will be situated at the company’s head office in Karachi and will report directly to the Managing Director and Chief Executive.  Position: Oracle Developers

Department: Information Technology

Location: Head Office, Karachi.

Description: Persons having excellent knowledge in Oracle 9i especially with regards to SQL queries and can develop systems independently. The applicant should be able to analyze requirements and build software system accordingly.

 Position:  Sales and Marketing Executive

Department: Sales and Marketing

Location: All major cities of Pakistan

Description: We require aggressive marketing personnel interested in making a career at an up and coming Life Insurance Company of Pakistan. The person would be working either in our individual or group life marketing departments.

Minimum Pre-requisites:

  • Inter is a must. However, graduate level persons would be preferred

  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

  • Marketing experience would be a plus but not required

  • Computer Skills would be a plus but not required
